Visit logging & tracking

Log the visit in one sentence. It's already verified.

After a meeting the rep says what happened, and Field CRM writes the log: type, outcome, notes and the follow-up task. The visit is geo-verified as on-site or off-site and lands on the customer's timeline for the manager to see.

How it works

Say it, verify it, follow it up.

  1. Step 1

    Say one sentence

Walking back to the car, the rep describes the visit in their own words. No form and no dropdowns.

  2. Step 2

    Logged and verified

AI fills in the type, company, outcome and note, and the visit is geo-verified as on-site or off-site.

  3. Step 3

    The follow-up chases itself

“Demo next week” becomes a task with email and Slack reminders, and shows up in the morning and evening digests.

What gets recorded

The whole field week, in one place.

Calls, meetings, WhatsApp, email, notesEvery channel your reps actually use, on one timeline per company.
Geo-verified visitsMarked on-site or off-site when they're logged.
Outcomes you defineYour own list per activity, so reports speak your language.
Photos and PDFsA shelf photo or a spec sheet, attached on the spot.
Reminders and digestsBy email and Slack, morning and evening.
Activity and audit historyWhat changed, who changed it, and when.

Why it matters

After ten visits, nobody fills a form.

Most CRMs ask a rep to open the app, pick the activity type, choose an outcome, write notes, set a follow-up date and save, after a full day on the road. So the log gets skipped, or it's written from memory on Saturday, and the CRM describes a much quieter week than the one that happened.

A one-sentence log is short enough to do before the next visit, and geo-verification gives the manager a reason to trust it without a Monday phone call. That's the difference between a CRM reps put up with and one they use. New to field sales CRMs? Start with what a field sales CRM is and how to pick one.

FAQ

Visit logging questions.

Do reps need to speak in a set format?

No. They say what happened the way they would tell a colleague, for example “met Rahul at Acme, discussed pricing, demo next week”, and Field CRM structures it into the log. Typing the same sentence works too.

How are visits verified?

When a rep logs a visit, Field CRM geo-verifies it as on-site or off-site, so a manager can tell a meeting at the customer's premises from one logged somewhere else.

Which activities can be logged?

Calls, meetings, WhatsApp conversations, emails and notes. You define the outcomes for each, and admins can add custom fields to the log.

Where do follow-ups go?

Follow-ups become tasks with reminders by email and Slack, plus a morning and an evening digest. Tasks filter by today, the next 7 days or overdue.

Is there route or beat planning?

Not yet. Territory and beat planning, with maps and routes, is something we are exploring. So is offline logging for visits with no signal.
